2023 Renewal Retreat

Are you ready to find new ways to tap into the transformative healing power of self-care and nourish your mind, body, and spirit? In this one-day workshop, you will learn how to slow down, listen to your “wise- self”, and live in the moment. It may be exactly what you’ve been looking for!

This inspiring and empowering workshop, led by UUCC member Kathryn Ragains-Wilson, will take place at UU Community Church on Saturday, February 4 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and will include a potluck lunch. A donation of $15.00 per person is requested to cover the cost of materials.

As a special gift, Kathryn’s niece, Alex Bott, will lead a nurturing yoga session to help you reconnect with your body (no prior experience required). Other guest presenters may be added as we get closer to the date.

What to Expect:
• Learn how to integrate self-renewal strategies into your daily life.
• Explore ways of getting out of your head and into your body.
• Tap into ideas for daily physical/emotional/spiritual renewal.
• Create a personal vision board of goals to begin manifesting them into your life.
• Experience meaningful connection with like-minded people.

What to Bring:
• Favorite beverage (This an alcohol-free event, Clear minds needed!)
• Yoga mat (Helpful but not necessary).
• A vegetarian or plant-based dish to pass.
• Comfortable clothing for yoga and meditation.
• Printed pictures for your Vision Board including a photo of yourself for the center.
• Cards, stickers, or other scrapbooking materials.
• Scissors (Helpful but not necessary).
• A journal or something to write in.
• A list of book titles that you would like to share that have been transformational to you
in your life’s journey.
