Drop-in Mindfulness Practice with Eric Nelson

Eric Nelson will host a drop-in Mindfulness Meditation practice on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7-8:30 PM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1747 W Milham Ave in Portage.

During these sessions, you will learn practices that support present-moment attention, which is characterized as non-judgmental, nonreactive, and kind. Instead of unconsciously reacting to life, based on past habits and conditioning, mindfulness gives you the freedom to consciously respond to life from a fresh and creative perspective.

Visitors, beginners, experienced practitioners, newcomers, and longtime members and friends are all welcome to join. Feel free to attend whenever your schedule allows.

More about Eric: Eric received his BA and MA in Social Psychology and Organizational Communication from Western Michigan University and worked as a Program Officer at the Fetzer Institute for 22 years in mind-body health and contemplative science. He founded Stress Less Kzoo in 2012, which provides stress management training to individuals and in corporate settings.
