The climate crisis is no longer a distant threat—it is here, and the stakes are rising. At the same time, political forces are working to weaken the very institutions meant to protect our air, water, and future. As environmental safeguards are rolled back, we must ask ourselves: What are we building? How do we prepare for the storms ahead?
Resilience isn’t just about survival—it’s about ensuring that no one is left behind. True Climate action must be tied to justice, addressing historic disparities while creating sustainable solutions. The Kalamazoo Climate Crisis Coalition (KCCC) is working with local partners to integrate emissions reduction, affordable housing, job creation, and economic investment into a holistic approach for a thriving, equitable community.
Join Jenny Doezema, Executive Director of KCCC, on Thursday, April 24 at 7 PM, onsite or online, for a conversation about the US EPA Community Change Grant-funded Holistic Healthy Homes program—a critical initiative designed to strengthen climate resilience in Kalamazoo.
Let’s come together, build solutions, and shape the future we want to see!
