Welcome to Open House Theatre Company (OTHC), where we believe theatre is for everyone! Established in 2019, OHTC was founded on the principle that the arts are for everyone and that everyone deserves a well-rounded theatrical experience.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple. We strive to make the arts accessible to all, providing an inclusive and educational theatrical experience for individuals of diverse backgrounds. Committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, OHTC aims to empower individuals through the transformative power of theatre.

To us, accessibility means keeping costs low and rehearsal schedules flexible. It means practicing non-traditional casting. It means emphasizing an educational environment that promotes critical thinking, self-exploration, open learning, and constructive feedback. It includes all individuals interested in the arts, whether on the stage, behind the scenes, or in the audience.

What We Offer

  • Exciting Productions: Whether we are producing a time-honored classic like Our Town or premiering a new work from a local playwright, we give every production our all. Whether you’re a seasoned actor or a first-time performer, there’s a place for you on our stage. Our next production will be Continuum of Care: A One-Act Play by Arnold Johnston and Deborah Ann Percy on May 17-19, 2024. Click HERE for ticket information.
  • Youth Programs: We believe in nurturing the next generation of theatre enthusiasts. Our youth programs provide a safe and supportive environment for young performers to learn, grow, and shine in the spotlight.
  • Community Engagement: Theatre has the power to bring people together like nothing else. That’s why we’re committed to engaging with our community by providing a space for budding playwrights to share their work and through partnerships with local organizations.

Our Artistic Director

Artistic Director and Co-founder, Mary Roscoe brings a wealth of artistic experience and creative drive to Open House Theatre Company. Mary has been involved with the arts for nearly all of her life.
