Speaker: Min. Dr. Karika Parker

Minister Dr. Karika Ann Parker is an ordained Minister of Pastor-On-Call, Ministries, and
Christian Leaders Institute. Dr. Parker has served in ministry for over 20 years. She is a
Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Western Michigan University’s (WMU) Lewis Walker Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnic Relations. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Black Americana Studies, a Master’s in U.S. History, and her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Organizational Analysis from WMU in Kalamazoo, MI. She is the proud mother of 3 college students and enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Rev. Dr. John L. Jackson, Sr.
