   Looking for an affordable, welcoming venue in Portage or Southwest Michigan? UU Community Church offers a contemporary, flexible space for life events, gatherings, and community programs. Whether you’re hosting a wedding, memorial, class, rehearsal, meeting, or ongoing group, our space is designed to feel warm, open, and adaptable.

We proudly welcome everyone — including LGBTQ+ individuals and families, nonprofits, and community groups — and offer a mission-aligned alternative to traditional banquet halls. With professional sound and projection capabilities, adjustable lighting, a beautiful parquet dance floor, and versatile seating configurations, UUCC is a space built for connection, creativity, and celebration.

Convenient parking is available on-site, and our kitchen is available for food storage, preparation, and warming. Alcohol is permitted, and outside vendors are welcome. Whether you’re planning a one-time event or an ongoing program, UU Community Church provides a cost-effective, inclusive environment for your gathering.

We offer a large, light-filled sanctuary and an open meeting area with a conference table, providing flexibility for many types of events.

Capacity: Approximately 250 people

Weddings, memorials, showers, banquets, lectures, meetings, trainings, performances, dances, church services, classes, and ongoing organizations.
