This service will be a brief introduction into restorative justice. It will look at restorative justice philosophy as well as practices.

Molly Mechtenberg works as a Youth Conflict Resolution Specialist and Restorative Justice Practitioner for Gryphon Place in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She began this position in 2014 after extensive work with young people. She has been trained in civil mediation as well as restorative justice practices. Molly is co-founder of Peace House in the Eastside neighborhood of Kalamazoo. Peace House, founded in 2006, is an intentional community whose work is to support families in the Eastside neighborhood, primarily through work with children. Molly lives at Peace House with her husband, Jerry Berrigan, and their three children.
