Rev. Gy will be speaking on “Legitimate” The Shower of Stoles Project is an extraordinary collection of liturgical stoles that celebrate the gifts of LGBTQ persons who serve faith communities in countless ways, while also lifting up those who have been excluded from service because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. The collection bears witness to the huge loss of leadership that some churches have brought upon themselves because of their own unjust policies.
This is also Generosity Sunday in support of OutFront Kalamazoo. Jay Maddock, Executive Director, will be speaking briefly about the recent organizational name change and the focus of their mission.
