Program Council Meeting at 11:30 am

Afifa Thaj, Sponsorship Coordinator from Samaritas, will attend our Program Council meeting today to explain the Samaritas services for refugee families and how faith communities support their efforts. Your Board of Trustees had the honor of meeting Ms. Thaj at the end of the regular meeting of the Board on January 9th. She shared some details about the Samaritas program and invited our community to consider co-sponsoring a refugee family. Samaritas will be welcoming four refugee families in January. The Board has agreed to take this invitation and opportunity to our Community for a decision. Please plan to attend the Program Council so we can obtain a consensus on how and if we want to proceed.
