Thoughtful Thursdays are Back!

After a brief summer hiatus, Thoughtful Thursdays are back!

We’re excited to announce the next series of UUCC Thoughtful Thursdays—enlightening evenings that feature thought leaders sharing insights on a topic of importance to us: spiritual growth, social justice, environmental sustainability, and more. It is your opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and broaden your perspective about critical issues and ideas. It is an opportunity to grow personally and as a community.
 
Thoughtful Thursday evenings begin with an engaging interview-style discussion between our guest and a moderator. Then we open the evening up to questions from our audience, allowing all attendees to engage with our speaker guest directly.
 
Every Thoughtful Thursday is held on Zoom and periodically the event is held on both Zoom and in-person in our Sanctuary.  All events are video recorded, so people who are interested but can’t attend live, can enjoy these enlightening conversations by registering to receive the video link.

August: Exploring Universal Spiritual Wisdom with Roger Walsh

Hope for Creation, founded in 2014, is an interfaith network in Kalamazoo dedicated to addressing climate change through faith-based action. By organizing educational events, they inform the community about climate impacts and responses. With a mission to harmonize social and natural communities, they engage faith communities in climate action. Partnered with Michigan Interfaith Power and Light, they have expanded their efforts, including projects like congregational gardens, and fostering environmental stewardship and justice.
