Finding More Joy Through a Smaller Environmental Footprint

All in-person Services and Religious Education Classes and Events have been CANCELED until further notice.

Guest speaker, Erin Augustine and her family decided to really focus their efforts on living more sustainable, aiming for a waste-free life. Erin will talk about their family philosophy, guiding principles, and recommendations for ways we can all find joy while reducing our environmental footprint.


Erin Augustine lives with her husband, daughters, ages 3 and 8, and two dogs in Rockford, Michigan. Erin has a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Northwestern University. She worked in environmental education, non-profit, environmental consulting, and corporate sustainability roles.
