How Can I Keep From Singing?

The following are the lyrics from our hymn #108 – “My life flows on in endless song,” though when Pete Seeger sings it, it is called “How can I keep from singing?”

My life goes on in endless song, above earth’s lamentations. I hear the real, though far-off hymn, that hails a new creation. Through all the tumult and the strife, I hear it’s music ringing. It sounds an echo in my soul. How can I keep from singing?”

Rev. Harold always encourages everyone to sing, and sing loudly, during church services. It is not as if we are a professional choir, but rather a community of faith, and singing does a better job of raising the spirit than a sermon, as much as he would like to think that he can inspire people with his words.  This hymn in particular can truly inspire, an inspiration that we need in these troubled times.

Our July services are intimate, onsite-only gatherings. Participants are encouraged to bring their own refreshments. Childcare is provided.
