Speaker: Wendy Fields

Wendy Fields is a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. Retired from Kalamazoo County Government after 39 years of service in the Health and Human Services Dept, she is involved in the community through volunteerism, advocacy, education, and the overall fight for equality, equity, and justice.

Ms Fields is a member of the Galilee Baptist Church, a Life Member of the Metropolitan Kalamazoo Branch of the NAACP, and a member of the Northside Ministerial Alliance.  She serves on Cradle Kalamazoo Steering Committee, whose primary focus is to reduce infant mortality in Kalamazoo. She also serves as a consultant for the WMED Fetal Infant Mortality Review program and on the Executive Board of Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.

She is the proud mother of and grandmother of three.  Wendy’s passion is simply to, help others through truth, empowerment, and advocacy.
